PSYCHOTHERAPY IN LOS ANGELES

Therapy for artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs in Los Angeles, CA

You don't have to choose between your well-being and your ambition.

Whether you're navigating trauma, addiction, ADHD, burnout, relationship challenges, or the pressures of creative life, therapy offers a space to understand yourself beyond your struggles and accomplishments.

A space to simply be human.

Hi, I’m Paige

Therapist, singer-songwriter, coach, wounded healer, and fellow human.

My relationship with therapy began long before I ever imagined becoming a therapist myself.

At 10 years old, I was put into therapy. Growing up, I was also the kid who was constantly singing around the house. Music came naturally to me, but somewhere along the way, I internalized the message that pursuing a creative career wasn't realistic—and that I should be quiet.

It's interesting to look back now, because so much of what I'm passionate about today involves helping people find their voices.

Although my love for music never disappeared, I found myself drawn toward psychology and eventually the mental health field. What I didn't anticipate was just how winding that journey would be.

My own experiences with addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges deepened my curiosity about human behavior, the ways we cope with pain, and how our experiences shape our identities.

Along the way, I began recognizing parts of myself I hadn't fully expressed, particularly creatively. Reconnecting with music and songwriting became a meaningful part of understanding myself beyond my struggles.

Today, I'm both a therapist and a singer-songwriter actively pursuing a music career. I've come to appreciate that we don't necessarily have to choose between the different parts of ourselves, even when the world makes us feel like we should.

My lived experiences, education, and clinical work have shaped the way I approach therapy—with curiosity, compassion, authenticity, and an appreciation for just how complicated being human can be.

Above all, I believe in the healing potential of relationships and connection. To me, the therapeutic relationship isn't simply part of the work—it's at the heart of it.

WHAT WE CAN EXPLORE TOGETHER

There's no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy or being human.

Sometimes, life experiences teach us to silence parts of ourselves, whether it's our creativity, our emotions, our needs, or our ambitions. Therapy can be a space to explore those parts, understand what shaped them, and begin finding your voice again.

FINDING YOUR VOICE & CREATIVE IDENTITY

Self-expression, creative blocks, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, authenticity, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself you've learned to silence.

ADDICTION & RECOVERY

Substance use, shame, harm reduction, emotional coping, recovery, and rebuilding trust in yourself.

EATING CONCERNS AND BODY IMAGE

Emotional eating, body image, self-worth, and exploring your relationship with food and your body.

TRAUMA & RELATIONSHIPS

Attachment patterns, relational wounds, boundaries, people-pleasing, and understanding how past experiences shape your relationships.

ADHD, BURNOUT, CAREER, ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Overwhelm, executive functioning, motivation, career transitions, and the pressure to constantly achieve.

NARCISSISTIC ABUSE & BETRAYAL

Trauma bonding, emotional manipulation, unhealthy relationship patterns, rebuilding self-trust, and finding your voice after experiences that made you question yourself.

How I Work

I believe therapy is about so much more than managing symptoms or learning coping skills. While those things are important, I'm also interested in understanding what's happening beneath the surface. Why do we repeat certain patterns? Why do we find ourselves in relationships that feel familiar, even when they're painful? How have our experiences shaped the ways we see ourselves, connect with others, and move through the world?

My approach is integrative, relational, and depth-oriented, drawing primarily from psychodynamic and attachment-based perspectives. I'm naturally curious about people and the experiences that have shaped them. I believe that when we begin to understand why we do the things we do, we can start making more intentional choices about how we want to live.

I also incorporate mindfulness and somatic based approaches, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work. Sometimes we can understand something intellectually but still find ourselves feeling stuck. I believe there's value in slowing down, paying attention to what's happening in our bodies, and getting curious about the different parts of ourselves that may be trying to protect us. Rather than judging or trying to get rid of these parts, we can begin developing a different relationship with them and, ultimately, with ourselves.

While I tend to gravitate toward deeper, exploratory work, I also recognize that sometimes we need practical tools to navigate what's happening in our lives right now. I have knowledge of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate solution-focused interventions when a more structured, goal-oriented approach may be helpful. I believe therapy should be flexible enough to meet you where you are.

Above all, I see therapy as a relationship and a collaborative process. I believe the therapeutic relationship is paramount and you feeling seen, supported, encouraged, and validated matters. I'm not here to tell you who you are, what you should feel, or what decisions you should make. I'm here to get curious with you, help you explore the things that may be difficult to look at on your own, and offer a space where you can show up as you are.

Something that's especially important to me is helping people find their voices. Whether you've spent years questioning yourself, prioritizing other people's needs, or feeling like you have to be someone you're not, I want therapy to be a place where you can begin reconnecting with yourself.

My hope is that through our work together, you not only develop a deeper understanding of yourself, but also build the self-trust, awareness, and confidence to live in a way that feels more authentic to you.
